In this video we look at the changing face of farming in Ireland from the cruel practise of horse ploughing by the tail, to one man operated Fletcher, a crude man powered plough. With the introduction of steam, during hte middle of the last century, Irish farming moved into another gear, and about the same time the American inventor McCormick, was changing the face of farming forever.
